ALLROUND CERAMICS

This course is suitable for those new to ceramics, but also for those who already have some knowledge of working with clay. In 8 weeks, we will guide you through a diverse range of techniques. You will have your first pieces to take home.

We will start with a diverse range of handbuilding techniques. From class 3 you will also start with the basics of throwing on the wheel. In this course you will focus on a wide spectrum of working with ceramics, so if you only want to focus on wheel throwing, please look for our other courses. We do recommend you this allround ceramics course. Many handbuilding techniques come back in throwing as well.

A maximum of 6 pieces can be fired and glazed during this course. The main focus in a course is on techniques, the process and practicing. If you wish to make more, please consider a membership during or after this course. 

After this course, for those who feel confident and wish to continue by making and experimenting by themselves, you can sign up for a membership at Pansa. You might already be able to start with this during the course. We will guide you in these steps. Many of our former students became makers and now use the studio as full time members.

Please ensure you are able to attend as many of the scheduled course dates as possible before you sign up. The courses are usually full, so we can’t move people between them.
